A city girl reins in the cowboy of her hottest dreams in Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author Lauren Landish's wild romance.
As the eldest brother, the responsibility for the family ranch now rests on Mark Bennett's broad shoulders. He wouldn't have it any other way - he loves being in charge. Working hard on the land helps him stay focused and keeps him from noticing what's missing in his life - what he'll never allow himself to have for fear that one small taste will break his careful control.
But a sweet blue-eyed blonde has just arrived in town, and the attraction between them is undeniably hot. So Mark tightens the reins around his heart - how can he tell her what he really wants?
Events planner Katelyn Johnson's new gig is the wedding of a rodeo superstar. Right now, it's tough not to focus on the rider's tempting older brother. So far, getting beneath Mark's gorgeously gruff exterior has been a pleasure.
What she needs to do is go a little deeper. But the closer they get, the more Mark pulls away. Katelyn's not afraid of a challenge, though. Whatever deep desires he's hiding, she wants in on his secrets.
All she has to do is get past his legendary reserve. With all her body, heart, and soul, there's nothing she can't handle.

"I absolutely loved Riding Hard! Mark runs his family's ranch & has always been very serious. He has a wall up that no one can break down. Katelyn needs a new change in her life & takes a job as the event coordinator at a resort in the same town that Mark lives in. Mark's youngest brother is getting married & Katelyn just happens to be the person in charge of the wedding at the resort. Katelyn does something to Mark that no one else does. She sees another side of Mark that no one else gets to see. Mark just wants to be friends but the chemistry between them is unbelievable. Will Katelyn be the one to break through to Mark? I loved that the story had a little bit of sexual darkness to it too & it wasn't all vanilla or beige as Katelyn says. I love the connections between Mark's family too. I can't wait to read the next book in the series with the middle brother. Each book can be read as a standalone but they tie together nicely. Great job on another wonderful story Lauren Landish!"

Riding Hard Bennett Boys Ranch Book 2 Audible Audio Edition Lauren Landish Melissa Moran Jacob Morgan Brilliance Audio Books Reviews
- Holy mother of all things fictional!
Can somebody get me a fan, please?
I mean..
Mark Bennet, the oldest and most stoic of the Bennett boys- has taken his role of running the ranch and watching out for his brothers and mother very seriously.
He doesn't waste time on idle chit-chat and isn't for romance or dating, so meeting Katyln his brother James and his bride to be Sophie's new Event Coordinator throws him off his stoicism game!
-The Barbie Girl and The Cowboy-
When their paths keep crossing the sparks keep igniting, to the point of leaving a trail of flames behind them- but James has some demons he's not ready to divulge, a part of him he is afraid to show, leaving her lonely and full of questions and James- the way he's always been.
Until Katyln gets under his skin just enough...
Woza!
Talk about an intense, heart-bending melted me into a puddle, sweet, made me smile, sexified Cowboy Ranch romance!
Their back and forth banter, off the charts chemistry, mama's all-knowing wisdom, Mark's brothers "playful" jabs all weaved into a heat fueled heart cinching read! A fantastic second book in the Bennett Boys Series! I did not want it to end! I love this family; I am so invested! I Want More!

Katelyn has just arrived in Great Falls and is excited about her new job with Mountain Spirit Hotel & Resort. She is the new events coordinator and she can't wait to start. Katelyn's first task is to plan the Bennett/Stone wedding. This is a big deal. James Bennett, top bull rider in the country, is marrying Sophie Stone. No pressure there.
Mark Bennett runs the Bennett Ranch and is older brother to James and Luke. Mark is a born rancher. It's in his blood. He's meticulous, intimidating and in total control of the ranch and of himself. After he meets Katelyn, he needs that control now more than ever. Mark's not supposed to be attracted to her. She's a city girl, not country. Mark needs a country girl that can handle him. When Mark holds Katelyn in his arms for the first time, he feels as if he's been branded. He's not used to this feeling. He's confused about his true feelings and fears rejection. Mark runs hot and cold. Katelyn makes him smile and laugh, but mostly, she makes him feel. Katelyn is everything a man could hope for. Mark is a rancher working long, hard hours with no time for a real relationship. Mark assumes Katelyn is going to want a man to be present in her life. To take her out and spend time with her. Start a family. All the things he can't give her while trying to take care of the ranch and his family. But most of all, Mark thinks she needs a better man.
WOW. I LOVED MARK & KATELYN'S STORY💕
LOTS OF QUICK, FLIRTY BANTER AND AN INTENSE, UNDENIABLE CONNECTION THAT LEAD TO TOTAL SURRENDER BOTH PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY !
THE BENNETT BOYS RANCH SERIES IS A DEFINITE MUST READ ! ! ! - I absolutely loved Riding Hard! Mark runs his family's ranch & has always been very serious. He has a wall up that no one can break down. - Difficult because the writing was very good, but it was a bit touchy subject matter (a trigger for some) so with that said there should be some kind of alert in the description, other than the one slightly hinted at. Even the book's title could be taken for anything. SPOILER alert Hero and heroine were very likable (on the surface for the hero anyway), story was very good, but I guess without the hero's secret/tendencies if you will, the entire story would have probably not been there. Two consenting adults who like rough play. Fine. But bruises on the back of her legs. Um no. Then the brother goes to call them on it seeing the bruises, but then he's like okay, you both like it rough, issue resolved. And sorry, but it is an issue. Really, just put a caution in your title description, then readers who do not care for this kind of read will be forewarned. First book by this author but if the rest of her books are like this I have been forewarned now. Thanks, but I'll pass.
- I am in Love with the Bennett Boys! This series has been fantastic so far and I can’t wait for the last brothers book. Riding Hard is Mark and Katelyn story and oh what a story it is! Mark is very withdraw, Moody and the older brother of the group. Katelyn is new to town and doesn’t take crap from anyone, I loved her feistiness! When these two come together the chemistry is so real and undeniable, it sucks you in. I can’t say enough about this story just buy it already! I loved it so much I purchased my own copy but I also, am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc.
- Katelynn is new to town and now the new events coordinator at the resort in Great Falls. Mark is the oldest of three, he lives and works on the Bennett Boys Ranch owned by his family. Katelynn and Mark meet when Mark goes to pay for a event she's planning. Instant sparks but Mark is to dark for her light and wants to keep her at a distance. Can Mark resist his urge for Katelynn? Will Katelynn open his eyes to a new way of life? Will they get a HEA?
